One of our long term foster dogs Mac who has a heart condition and has been really poorly last week. Mac a galgo arrived from Spain with a heart condition that he is on medication for and regular blood tests. Last week he went down hill pretty fast so was rushed to the vets for a heart scan .The vets found Mac has hypersensitive arythmia aswell as a heart condition. He is on more medication but the vets have said if he does not improve it’s kinder to let Mac go due to how much he was struggling to breath last week. Since he has been the vets he is actually doing well on the new medication so for now he isn’t suffering or struggling but is really settled and happy. We know he can go at anytime but his foster momma Julie Siddles is doing an excellent job and giving him a fantastic life he wouldn’t have had in Spain.
