Poor Bolly has had to forego his trip to the USA due to health reasons – here’s some words from Kerry:
“Beautiful Bolly was at the vets a few weeks ago as he was running around the garden and when he came in he lost a nail.Went the vets and he had lost one but one had bent around in such a way it had to come off.So that was two nails in one go which was really sore for him.
Then last week another one came out and another was hanging off 
Back to the vets who gave him really strong antibiotics for a week which were over £90 and he had full bloods done because we are worried he may have an immune deficiency of some kind.Which might be SLO my own greyhound has it and a few with have rehomed also had it.The most gutting thing is he has waiting since November for a home and was flying to America this month to Greyhound Friends of NJ, Inc. but we have had to cancel him going

His bill is over £400 atm and only going to get higher

Every cloud has a silver lining though and the gorgeous Tom is going to be able to take Bolly’s place! We wish Tom all the best and hope he finds his forever home in the USA! There will be fundraising to pay for Tom, George, Swan and Riley to fly – please watch this space!
