After a couple of weeks of negotiations we finally have managed to rescue Cooper- racing name Empty Hope. Cooper was born in Ireland in 2017. He was exported to Spain sometime this year. He last trialed in Ireland 17th December 2018. Rather than this young dog getting a retirement he was sent to Spain for breeding and racing. He is from the same person in Spain who we got Joe from this year. Cooper clearly hasn’t had a good time in Spain he has a wound on his back and on his legs. He is scared and confused and has no idea what is happening to him. He is all up to date with vaccines and rabies so will travel ASAP to the UK. He is under the wing of Birmingham Greyhound Protection and will now get the life he deserves.
