Please meet Bob
He is joining us today at the Lincolnshire Branch after he was taken to a pound by his owner. He is from a rehoming centre who know he is coming to us. He is 7 years old.The reason he was taken to a pound is because he guards foods and he nipped the owner when he caught a hedhog and she tried to get the hog out his mouth
We are going to see a lot of greyhounds needing rescue now either from pounds, private homes, gumtree etc because lockdown is lifting. I fear we will have some of our dogs returned too for the same reasons. Hope I’m wrong but like every other rescue that’s what I’m bracing myself for. We are already taking a lot from gumtree etc and the problem with that is then that effects my dogs waiting on the list to come in.
