Fantasic news from our sister rescue Candy’s Hound Rescue International! Here are some words from Kerry:
“The very reason I set up our sister rescue Candy’s Hound Rescue was because so many racing dogs from the UK and Ireland are being exported to China. The ex-racers are my first love but these China meat trader survivors need so much help.
After waiting over four years I have finally got my Visa for China! I never wanted to go to China and didn’t think I would miss it. I actually can’t wait to go and squeeze Doe and see our dogs and bring some home. The BBC has been in touch and will be documenting my trip and the trips we will be doing this year to get our dogs out.
Honestly for the first time in so long time, I actually feel positive about the charity and the work we are doing in China. It’s been so hard not going to China and helping these dogs; it’s something I will never take for granted ever again.”
