Winter

Please meet Winter, racing name Cure. Winter is 2 years old and last raced in Sept 2023. Unfortunately, he was sent from Ireland to Spain for breeding and hunting; this lad should have been rehomed when he stopped racing and given the chance to be a pet but instead, he was sold for 400 euros for a life of hell. Sadly when we rescued Winter he had a nasty wound on his leg; later x rays confirmed that he had also broken his hock which had fused together without any medical care. Winter spent many months recovering with one of our wonderful fosters in Spain and just recently became well enough to make it back to the UK to find his much-deserved forever home.
