Ernie

Moo moo Ernie is looking for his forever home. Ernie is 4 years old and a moo moo coursing greyhound that originally came from Ireland as a pup. He was adopted in the UK and unfortunately this didn’t work as the adopters didn’t appreciate the work that had to go into a pup

He’s been in foster here for a few months and in that time he has settled into a routine. He loves to feel safe and secure and a routine helps him with that. Ernie sleeps all night long , he will also sleep all day too in between walks.

He can sleep with his eyes open and also has sleep startle and because of that he could not be adopted with young children or a busy household Ernie could be adopted as an only dog or with another settled hound. He could not live with cats though.

He is lovely on walks and once he knows people and dogs they are a friend for life. Ernie is a big lad and has no idea of his size when he wants a love. He can get a little excited at times on walks but is very manageable. He just needs the understanding and time for him to settle and feel safe then he will love you forever.

You need to know that his tail when he wags it, is lethal as can hurt your leg!
