Amber

Beautiful Amber is looking for her forever home. She’s a Galga from Spain who came to the UK via another rescue; unfortunately her UK home didn’t work out so we took her rather than her going back to Spain. Amber did have low levels Leish but has now tested negative 🙂
Here is what her foster mom has said about her:
“Amber is a bright intelligent active Galga. Food driven, loving and a bit of a sneak thief!
House trained, asks to go out, travels well in the car, does zoomies and spins in the garden. Loves her whippet side kick but loves people more, she needs a sighthound experienced active household with at least 2 people and possibly older teenage children who are dog savvy would be ok.
She walks well on the lead and was really chilled on her Christmas holiday. She needs another dog of similar size with a laid-back personality willing to play. She does have some separation anxiety but it is improving; she suffers from FOMO! She will make a great companion to those willing to continue working on providing her with stability and security and boundaries. She is not small furry friendly as she’s far too interested in pigeons and squirrels. She also reacts to certain noises like a gun firing and air brakes.
I have taken her to the dog park and she trotted about but did not stray far from me…i was expecting mega zoomies! Shes not a fussy eater, and hates the rain!
