Please meet Al, racing name LYNNIA MAGICO.
He has arrived as an emergency from a pound where he was booked to be killed as he had served his 7 days.
Another broken soul; he is pretty scared and shut down, and as the photos show, in appalling condition.

Al is safe now and will be given time to decompress and be assessed. His full profile will follow, in the meantime the following is his story up until now;

This boy was picked up as a stray and taken to a pound. On his 7th day, he was booked to be euthanised. People don’t like to believe dogs are killed in the UK after 7 days, but they are because there are too many dogs being bred.
Racing greyhounds, however, should have the protection of the racing industry. The racing community won’t say Greyhounds are rescued, they say they are retired.
As a rescue, we know that’s not correct; they are rescued, especially dogs like Al. Look at the condition of this lad, he had no protection.
He is going to the vet for his skin and he has kennel cough. He also needs to be castrated and have a dental.
We don’t receive a penny from the racing industry and are NOT in the bullshit Greyhound Board of Great Britain bullshit bond scheme.
