Our sister rescue Candy’s Hound rescues hounds from the Chinese meat trade to find loving homes in the UK.
Here’s an update from Kerry:
- In 3 years we have managed to get 278 dogs out of China and into homes.
Due to the Pandemic, we had more dogs than we have ever had because dogs couldn’t travel and we couldn’t fly to China to collect dogs; we had almost 400 dogs at one stage.
Doing a head count yesterday and checking data we now have around 70 dogs left in our care in China (I say around because every time I come here another dog appears 😂🤔)
Since we went back to China end of Feb/March this year we have got 228, yes 228 dogs out and into homes!
We have helped Harbin get dogs out which takes it to 258 dogs all out of China and into homes.

Without these rescues our dogs wouldn’t have got out.
We still have a way to go to get the rest of the dogs out but I’m confident we will do it.
How wonderful will it be to get all our dogs that have waited so long into homes for Christmas 🎄
